American Red Cross collecting "Toys for Tots”

TWIN CITIES (November 8, 2006) – The American Red Cross is providing five convenient Toys for Tots drop-off locations for those wanting to give a new, unwrapped toy to a deserving child this holiday season.

The Red Cross will accept toy donations through Tuesday, December 19, 2006 and will deliver collected items to Toys for Tots on Wednesday, December 20. Those wishing to donate new, unwrapped toys are encouraged to visit the following American Red Cross chapters and blood donation centers:

  • Twin Cities Area Chapter/Minneapolis Area Blood Donation Center
    1201 West River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55454
    Mon. – Fri.: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Mon., Tues. & Thurs. until 7 p.m.)
  • Twin Cites Area Chapter/St. Paul Area Blood Donation Center
    176 Robert Street South, St. Paul, MN 55107
    Mon. – Fri.: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Mon. & Tues. until 6 p.m., Thurs. until 7 p.m.),
    2nd & 4th Sat.: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Central Minnesota Chapter/St. Cloud Area Blood Donation Center

    Mon. – Fri.: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Mon. & Tues. until 7 p.m.)
